(1) One of the main components of lightweight and high-strength extruded grating is glass fiber, which has a specific gravity of only 1/4 of steel and 2/3 of aluminum, making the extruded grating lightweight and easy to transport and install. However, lightweight does not necessarily mean low strength. The high content of fiberglass (usually above 60%) endows the extruded grille with excellent unidirectional specific strength and stiffness, allowing it to remain stable and not easily deformed even under large loads. For example, in the construction of some large equipment platforms, the use of extruded grilles can not only reduce the weight of the entire structure, but also ensure that it has sufficient strength to carry the weight of equipment and personnel.

1) Lightweight and high-strength

One of the main components of extruded grating is fiberglass, which has a specific gravity of only 1/4 of steel and 2/3 of aluminum, making it lightweight, easy to transport and install.

(2) Excellent corrosion resistance

The extruded grille exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. It can withstand corrosion from various gas and liquid media such as acids, bases, organic solvents, and salts to varying degrees. Whether in the highly corrosive environment of chemical enterprises or in humid marine environments, extruded grilles can maintain stable performance and are not prone to rusting and corrosion like traditional metal grilles. This characteristic makes it an ideal substitute for traditional metal grilles in corrosive environments. However, due to its lower resin content on the surface compared to molded grilles, its corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to molded grilles, but it can still meet the needs of most harsh environments.

(3) Good anti slip performance

Safety is a crucial factor in various work and life scenarios. The design of the zipper grille fully considers the anti slip requirements, and its surface is usually equipped with pre designed linear anti slip grooves, which can effectively increase the friction between the sole and the grille surface, reducing the risk of personnel slipping. In some special situations, additional anti slip effects can be further increased by using adhesive to lay sand. For example, in areas such as ship decks and car wash rooms that are prone to water accumulation and frequent personnel movement, the anti slip design of the pull squeeze grille can ensure the safety of personnel walking.

(4) Excellent impact resistance and fatigue resistance performance

Like molded grilles, extruded grilles have high impact resistance and can withstand a certain degree of external impact without cracking or damage. And it also has moderate elasticity, which makes people who work on it for a long time feel comfortable, while allowing the grille to bend repeatedly without permanent deformation. In areas that are frequently subjected to mechanical vibrations or frequent human movement, such as factory operating platforms, stair treads, etc., the impact and fatigue resistance of the extruded grille can ensure its long-term stable use and reduce the frequency of maintenance and replacement.

(5) Durable and aesthetically pleasing, easy to maintain

The extruded grille is made of excellent resin and fiberglass system, which ensures that the product has a long service life, usually up to 20 years or more. Even after prolonged exposure to the atmosphere, although the appearance may change, its strength can still remain above 85% after twenty years. In addition, the extruded grille is made by blending color paste into all resins during the production process. It has a bright color and is not easy to fade, does not require additional paint, and has self-cleaning function. Daily maintenance is simple and convenient, and only regular cleaning is needed to maintain good appearance and performance.

(6) High security

In some special occasions, safety is the primary consideration in material selection. The extruded grille has excellent electrical insulation, non electromagnetic and non sparking characteristics, which makes it very suitable for use in work areas with conductive hazards, magnetic sensitive equipment, and flammable and explosive places. For example, in the workshops of electronic factories and hazardous areas of petrochemical enterprises, extrusion grilles can effectively avoid safety accidents caused by materials and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
