The production process of molded grilles is a process that combines manual operation with mold machines, mainly including the following steps: (1) mixing and blending raw materials. Firstly, excellent resin, fiberglass roving, and filler powder are mixed and configured in a certain ratio, usually 1:1:1. (1) Mixing and blending raw materials
Firstly, mix and prepare excellent resin, fiberglass roving, and filler powder in a certain ratio, usually 1:1:1. The determination of this ratio has been verified through extensive experimentation and practice, ensuring that the molded grille achieves a balance in performance. By accurately stirring, various raw materials are thoroughly mixed, laying a solid foundation for subsequent production steps.
(2) Pouring material
The workers pour the mixed and prepared raw materials onto the production mold machine of the grid, and then use skateboard tools to evenly spread the raw materials on the mold, ensuring that the raw materials can cover the entire surface of the mold. This step requires skilled workers to ensure even distribution of raw materials, otherwise it will affect the quality and performance of the molded grille.
(3) Scratching silk
The wire cutting process is usually completed by two skilled workers working together. They lay glass fiber rovings on the machine in a layer by layer pattern, usually about eight layers are laid on each grating board. This laying method can ensure that the grating plate has excellent strength performance, which enhances the glass fiber roving in the molded grating and improves the overall load-bearing capacity of the product.
(4) Compression mold
After completing the wire cutting process, two workers use molding tools to compact the resin raw materials and glass fiber rovings, so that the grating panel can be smoothly formed. The force and uniformity of the mold have a significant impact on the quality of the molded grille, and workers need to strictly follow the operating specifications to ensure that the density and structure of the product are uniform and consistent.
(5) Heating and demolding
After completing the mold pressing, heat the fiberglass grating first to fully cure the resin. The heating process requires temperature and time control to ensure the performance of the product. After heating is completed, after about ten minutes of cooling time, the molding process is carried out to remove the molded grille from the mold.
(6) Polishing
The final production process is polishing and washing. Place the grille panel on a specialized polishing tool for smooth polishing, removing burrs and uneven parts on the surface of the product, making the molded grille surface as smooth as new. The polished grating plate is then washed with water to further clean the surface and ensure that the product meets quality standards, completing the entire production process of the molded grating.
